X2 9 Inch Coil Question.

Of all the UMax models out there, if you were to choose just one of them to mount this coil on for large open area hunting, what would be your choice.

You may need a ground balance adjust to tune the detector to the coil. My choice would be the Outlaw.

Of my current detectors, the Eldorado µmax.

I would guess that finding an Eldorado Umax or Bandido II Umax would be harder to come by than an outlaw. If you are looking to switch coils and have bad ground in your area I would go with the outlaw, because it has manual ground balance and you will be able to tune your coils and ground balance your detector. My compadre is the only preset ground balance detector I have. I like being able to use manual ground balance due to bad soil conditions and switching coils. If you did buy an outlaw and don't currently own the 3 coils it can come with I would purchase the 3 coil option. If I did not have a bandido II Umax already. The outlaw would be my next Umax detector I would purchase. Whatever you choose if it says Tesoro on the side of it you can't go wrong. HH

which ever you choose will be a winner that is one coil that is hard to find anyway . I have one for my X2 as well as the 7 inch coil would not ever get rid of it. It is very accurate on pinpointing and has great depth

I have good luck with the S9 on my Toltec 100, goes really deep for 80's technology. Keeps up with modern detectors except this rig is kinda heavy.
