X1-Probe

I have a Question on Stability with the X1-Probe. I follow allot of what people say on this forum, so I'll make this short and sweet. I hunt in manual and run the sensitivity at 28. Is the X1-probe supposed to false and be unstable in Manual setting. When I switch it to semi-auto. It runs smooth. Is this normal? Is this some type of trade-off for more depth? Or is something wrong with the X-1 Probe?
Thanks
Tom

Tom,
In some soil and moisture conditions running in high manual settings such as you describe, the X-1 can experience some falsing. We recommend that if that happens to switch to semi auto temporarily while using the X-1 and then back to manual setting when finished.

Thanks Ralph. Thats what I've been doing. I just wanted to see if maybe I was the only one with this issue. I like to hunt in manual because my experience is that I get greater depth. I was hoping for a better alternative than switching back and forth all the time. I guess I have my answer.

I get falsing from my X1 when ever sens is higher than 24 manual... not a problem
