X-Terra

I am new at metal detecting and thinking of buying the X-Terra50 or the X-Terra70. I would appreciate anyones opinion on which model would make a good detector for a first time user and for what reasons. Also is there any Field Tests reports on the X-Terra70 and where could I find them? I would appreciate anyones responds to these issues.

X-terra 70 is the only choice. Watch both of these videos on the 50 and the 70 and you will have to agree the 70 will give you more room to move later on. Enjoy!
Cheers!

will find anymore with it than you would the 50.

You are going to spend 80% plus in all metal mode. The extra saved discrim pattern and prospecting mode are just bells and whistles.

I would think the 50 would do you right to start. If you outgrow it you can go past the 70 to the Explorer SE and keep the 50 as a good backup.
