X-Terra on the beach?

Rabbie(uk)

New member
I am thinking of buying a new detector in the near future. I am thinking of the X-Terra 30 as there are some great offers on this machine at the moment.
As I do a lot of detecting on the beach, I was wondering how well it would cope with saltwater and what kind of depth I could expect on an average size coin or ring.

Hi Rab,

From this side of the pond here are a couple previous posts:

And on your side of the pond Welsh Neil I believe uses an X30 on the beaches, he has a recent post here nearby and might be able to give you more info. And I might add he has made some bang up finds he's posted in the past.
