X-Terra Interesting Post

I found this post on another forum & thought I would pass it along here. It is on the X-Terra 50
(Quote)I have a lot of large nails in my yard and they will hit negative ferrous like they are supposed to but they also hit the silver dollar as you move to the edge of them, you can't get it to repeat but it's a little annoying. (if you pinpoint it they always show iron over center)
Last night I had a copper signal and I had ferrous notched out, it didn't pinpoint well so I went to all metal and got solid iron for a signal? I had to dig I don't know the detector that well, found a large nail at 4 inches I was ticked, but checked the hole (still on pinpoint) dug 2 more inches and found a 46 wheat (End Quote).
So I guess it doesn't hurt to double check the hole. Steve.

I double check every hole I dig. My best with the 70 has been 3 pieces of gold from one hole and I have also dug gold out of other peoples dig holes. Once with an SD2100 i dug out 19 pieces of gold from the one hole. My mate beat me though with 21 from 1.
