X-Terra Headphones?

Beale

New member
Ok so I have ordered the X-Terra 70 and want to get some headphones. I wear a hearing aid in my left ear, (to much rock n roll). I have read good things about the Rats, Grey Ghost, Sun Ray, even wireless. i also know Koss has a set for the X-terra.

I am just really wanting some opinions. I do not have anywhere local to try them on, Beale.

If you can try before you buy, though that can be hard at times to do. What I love others hate and visa versa. I use cheap $35 headphones, Aussie dollars, and can even hear the machines internals singing away. Another bloke tried them and reckoned they are junk and went and payed $200 plus for a set which to me was a total waste of money.
But he was happy as a pig in the proverbial.

Hi, I use Grey Ghost originals and enjoy them, but recently I have been evaluating my wife's Detector Pro Accusound headphones. I really like them especially the dual ear adjustments. They have all the features you would expect of a top of the line headphones. JMHO Dennis in Idaho

The Widows were too loud on the last notch, but not high enough on the next to last notch. The Rats aren't as loud, but loud enough for me and no harsh jump in volume.

Damn you guys are spoilt for accessories over there. I got a book from the US and UK the other week and was dumbfounded how many different machines, headphones, coils, you name it you can get.
Lucky dogs. We get the basics from Minelab, Whites, Garret and Tesoro.
Fisher have virtually dropped off the radar in OZ.
And thats it.
