Great...........Thanks Digger and Minelab. Case closed. TomB

Great info, can't argue when it comes straight from the source. I found out the hard way that the 10 X 5 Double-D coil is not water proof. Lucky for me the service department at Minelab fix the problem. Thank you Minelab for the good will on getting my X-Terra 70 back up and running, Quality detectors are not cheap and it is nice to know you stand behind your product, even if the owners make a mistake.

Now the question is: "why doesn't Minelab just go ahead and make all their X-T coils waterproof, rather than a little over half of them"???

Where would a guy go for prices on these coils? Great information on this post. Great question on why don't they make them all water proof?
