X-Terra 705 has really small legs under the arm cuff

Tips over too easy. I made better legs out of the blue plastic. This plastic was hard to bend and keep its shape, so had to use a heat gun to make the bends. Can be made of aluminum too. Held in place by the thumb screw that came with the detector. Any detector I ever had needed to have the legs extended outward. Also seen in the photo is a home made head phone extension and rechargeable battery pack. No need to remove the batteries, charger plugs into the jack at the end of the shaft. No holes needed to be drilled, these additions can be taken off without leaving a trace. Now I gotta find some new places to search, the X-Terra found only a musket ball at the old places that were cleaned out with the CoinStrike. I love the X-Terra, awesome detector. HH, Jabbo

I like it man! I use a camelback with a bungee whwn swinging the XT, so I just let it hang by my side when bending to dig. When going to my knees however, for those harder to find targets, I definitely could use your 'invention'! Good work. HH, Scott

Atom, Glad you like the legs. I posted it because I figured it would help some one. HH, Jabbo
