Hunting near a street where there installing a sidewalk, found this 1947 merc and a 5 cent trade token with George Renners Cafe 1605 Alsage Ave. Found in a suburb outside Cincinnati.

Cool finds! 
I've got my eye on a sidewalk tearout and street replacement supposed to start Aug 6th. The city has no record of this 1900 two block long street ever being replaced...only recapped & patched. Keeping my fingers crossed that the local gendarmes don't mess me up.

Nice finds and I am sorry to tell you but that's not a Merc, it's a Rosie.
I never pass up a street or sidewalk tear out. I get a big smile on my face every time I see one.

I thought about it after i posted saying a merc but cant edit ad, was using the 6'' HF coil with sens at 30, 4 tone. I believe there going to be digging up the street so i'll be back this evening.
