X-Terra 70 On The Way

Grumpy_

New member
I should be receiving my X-Terra 70 today from Kellyco with a 9" (7.5 Hz) and 5X10" DD (18.75Hz) coil.

This forum helped me decide which MD to buy. It had to be versatile since I live in Fort Lauderdale (plenty of dry and wet sand), I intend to retire soon and travel to mountains where there will be streams (gold), and I also go to England quite often (relics). From everything I have read, the X-Terra 70 met those requirements.

A sincere thank you to all the members that have posted their experiences and recommendations. This forum is truly a useful research tool and hopefully someday, I will be able to contribute some TIPS.

Welcome to the X-Terra family. Good luck with your new machine and we look forward to your posts / questions / and future tips! Ron

hi Grumpy

the X-Terra 70 is a very good machine
I found all the little things that I was missing by my first detector, such as fine silver things
enjoy your X-Terra
greetings from austria !

Sadly I am going to have to wait a little longer. When UPS delivered the box to my work place, the receptionist said the driver kicked the box from the front door, through the lobby, up to the receptionist desk. When I picked up the box, it was like it fell off a 10 story building.

I am returning the box, unopened. Kellyco is shipping me out all new stuff. Kellyco does provide stellar customer service. They need to get rid of UPS and start shipping FedEX.

Oh well, hopefully it will arrive by Saturday so that I can start finding Spring Break stuff on Fort Lauderdale beach :clapping:
