X-terra 70 and whites m6

Has anyone done a comparison on the two I have a buddy who wants one he is a whites man and I am a minelab man but curios on how good the m6 is.

I used to have a M6 but have a X70 now. The M6 is very easy to use but I like to nock out the highest segment of the discrimination range to reduce false high tones caused by iron. On the M6 you can't do that. Also, the M6 has mono or 7 tone ID. I rather have 3 or 4 or mixed. On the X70 you have a choice. I wish the X70 had a couple of the DD coil choices that the M6 has but the performance of the X70 wins out in my case anyway. Also, the noise cancel and manual GB features are nice. The 3kHz. coil has found me some deep silver. Hope this helps.

I've had both. The XT 70 whipped my M6. Not to mention the 70 is 1.5 pounds lighter! Sorry Whites.

I agree with the folks above. I traded my M6 in for the X70 and have never looked back.
You will have a hard time hunting on a trashy park with the M6 without the sniper coil but you lose a lot of depth.
The X70 with the 6" DD coil gets great depth and fantastic seperation. I pulled a token at 9" with the 6" coil but that was great soil and had the sens to max.
I also have dug a lot less iron with the x70.
