Welcome to the forum. I had a 50 now own a 70 , good machine you have. I have never hunted on a beach though. Someone on here will help you out . Lots of good information on here.

Welcome to the site. You have a nice unit. Read the FAQFAQ at the top of the site. Lots of good info there on all models and different ways to hunt different areas. Good luck to you Beale.

Alan, my name is Joe. I live in Se Delaware, hunt the beaches all the time. Have x-70. Run in allmetal and in beach mode. Dig everything at first till you get the hang of it then just dig all positive signals. Thats what i did anyway, found lots of coins and some rings, along with alot of trash. Take it all with you though and fill in your holes. You didnt say where you are, if your close to me we can get together for a beach hunt. Good luck, hope this helped you some. HH !

I recently bought a X-50 too. So far, I love the machine and I think you will like it. I have only worked beaches a couple of times and I just dug everything that beeped. Take some time to learn the X-50 and it won't let you down. I learn something new about mine each time I go out. HH
