X-terra 50 Vs. Matrix M6

Hello all,
Have been reading some very helpful posts on each of these detectors. I am new to this hobby, and have used friends detectors a few times, and it is time to buy my own. I will be using it primarily for coin shooting and general relic hunting. I think I have it narrowed down between the Mine lab X-terra 50 and White's Matrix M-6. The people on this site seem to have a wealth of knowledge and any input on comparing these detectors would be very appreciated by a newcomer.
Thanks!!

You will likely get some responses from guys that have not tried both detectors, head to head. And, being an open forum, those responses are expected and might provide some interesting reading. But my comments are based on having owned two Matrix M6's and all three models of the X-Terra. In my opinion, the Matrix M6 is not even close to being the detector that the X-Terra 50 is. Not for target depth, target ID, sensitivity, stability, weight, noise cancel, balance, power consumption or the ability to notch out specific targets at a given site. The only advantage that the M6 has at this time is the availability of a smaller coil.
I recognize that no two people hunt the same or like the same things. I primarily hunt for old coins, in moderately mineralized soils. I seldom hunt parks or modern areas, preferring instead to research and locate old sites that time has passed by. And, for the type of hunting I do, the X-Terra is "hands-down" the better detector.
