X-terra 50 the thing would not turn on:angry:

I called the store where i bought it in fla.the guy was helpful,i checked the bat & the coils, seems to be the control box. he gave me a # to call Monday so i can ship it off should get it back in a week. we have a two week trip to ST THOMAS in July,old stomping ground cant wait. has anybody have that problem where it just wont turn on?

I had that happen to a used X50 i bought. I called Sandy at Minelab customer service, she said send it in. They took care of the problem and i got it back me quickly. Great service!

never had that , but I have had mine go on by itself, and it shut down once by itself , but all in all I have found the machine to be good and have have some sucess with the limited time I have used it .......I think it will work out well for ya in the long run ........ good luck

thanks for the response folks,feel much better about it now.calling sandy and packing it up in the AM.
