x-terra 50 or F4

thinking of selling a Silver Umax and maybe my f4 for a xterra 50 plus coils. I may keep the silver U and just get rid of the F4. I still haven't quite got the hang of the F4. the silver I get better at the more I use it but not so much on the F4.

The F4's adjustable ground balance is for the all metal auto tune mode only. The disc mode GB is factory set. Plus you can only run one frequency. I would sell it and buy the Xterra 50. It's just more versatile.

If you can go with the extra money, get the XT-70. If not, the XT-50 would be a good step up from the F-4. Which ever model you get, I think you will be surprised on the good finds and ease of use. Let us know what you do.

I have hunted with a friend of mine and his 50 for over two years. He consistantly finds more than I do and I am amazed sometimes at what he finds. It is probably the fact that he kept and learned his machine while I went thru a couple, but the fact remains: he consistently finds the good stuff, from coins to relics. The 50 is a very good machine in my opinion!

Well Just my opinion.... But I have actually owned both machines. I bought the f-4 first.. I hated the thing. I sent it back to kellyco. Exchanged it for the x-terra 50... WOW what a difference. The x-50 is light years ahead of the F-4.... Go with the X-50. or the 70 they just work......
