X-Terra 50 made a surprise find today..

I found this old coin while coin shooting around a local high school today.
I thought it was a dollar coins at first until I started looking closer.
Been awhile since I got one of these.

Nice one!! Wish I could find the oldies here in FL. like you northern MDers do.
That's the oldest coin I ever found, 1838, in a park, But I'm pretty sure mine was a recent loss, I'm thinking it was some ones pocket coin. It has pinched sides like it was mounted in something.

Like OLH said, be careful about the cleaning. If it was mine I would put some Olive oil on it an let it set for a few day's and then wipe it off,,, that's it....
