X-terra 50 finds today

My buddy invited me to hunt with him today and I broke ice and found my first silver for 2008.
2 walking liberty halfs no less. These are my first walking liberty coins so far and I am damn pleased with them.
I also found 11 wheat pennies, and some clad and memorial pennies.
My buddy found an 1898 Morgan dollar and a 1940 Washington quarter.
Both coins are in great shape too!
Thanks for looking,
Felix

I never post on other brand forums other then my own brand but those WL halves are in such fantastic shape I just had to tell you: Sweeeet! WTG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the prettiest coin the US ever minted. Wouldn't turn up my nose at a Morgan dollar either though!! WTG. Good luck and HH the rest if 2008. Bob.

The Walker is the best designed coin of all time and those halfs are awesome. Finding two in one day is pretty special, too. Congrats, Ron

Nice looking Walking Liberties. They look shiny. Did you clean them?

Grate finds, but it looks like you polished them up. Not a good idea
when you find these old coins. The value seems to drop among collectors when they are cleaned up like this. Still, very nice finds.
Where did you find them? What part of the country were you detecting in?

Beautiful coins. Keep up the good work! Well, it really isn't work now, is it? :detecting: HH Randy
