X-Terra 50 and hunting in England

Picked up an X-terra 50 just this week and was planning on taking it to England this fall. Want to know if anyone has used this machine over there looking for the small hammered silver coins and Roman coins and any opinions or tips that one might be willing to share. I have not used it yet so am not familiar with the machine at all. Hoping to take it for a bit of a work out this week some time once I read the manual and view the CD
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
