Hello all,
I'm debating between the two. I realize the X-terra 30 is a VID detector, but I've read a lot of good things about the Cibola (non VID) too. I was originally going to get the Tesoro Vaquero w/ manual ground balancing, but I need to spend $400 max on the detector alone.
I live in central Michigan & will be doing mostly coin & jewelry hunting w/ some fresh water hunting also. I prefer a turn on & go detector w/ minimal adjustments (simplicity is good), good discrimination, and preferably good depth. I know at $400 I may be somewhat limited, but by the time I get a good set of headphones, digging tool, probe, etc. I will have reached my spending limit.
I appreciate your advice.
