Not sure if my last post came thru. I asked what experience XP Deus owners have had finding small gold jewelry on land and on fresh water beaches. Also has anyone had good luck looking for gold nuggets with the XP Deus?

Well I would say nvchris has good luck with finding nuggets with the Deus. He just posted a video on here finding a 0.5 gram near 6" deep. While the depth was not officially measured in his video, my 1.5g nugget air tests at 4" in a coin program and about 6" in the gold field program.

Small gold comes in the range of small foil pieces. Not a problem for the Deus on small gold if you don't mind digging thousands of small foil bits.
So unless the area is fairly clean, I don't bother trying. Chains come in at the same range unless they are heavy/large links like a wrist chain.
Every gold ring I've dug has come in above 45 at 18khz. That doesn't mean they won't come in lower especially if they are a broken loop.
It comes down to trash to treasure ratio on how I search for gold jewelry.
