Sometimes I got to a post that has a pic, and all thats inside is a red X in a small box, even tried clicking on it, but don't get to view the pic? Reid(KS)

Sometimes it means the picture was not posted right, like the jpg was left off or something. Other times I just don't know what it is. JJ posted a picture down below and I can not see it. I try Netscape and Explorer here and at home and still can not see it. It is called a broken link. This one I can not explain <IMG SRC="/forums/images/frown.gif" BORDER=0 ALT=":(">

Well, having pBASE for an album has proved to be a curse for a lot of people. Ever since PhotoPoint went south, a lot of people switched to pBASE. And then the problems started.
When you try to post in a forum with an image in pBASE you HAVE to make sure that the address link of the image is .jpeg extension, as the link will by default make it .jpg and you must change.
I think it probably has to do with the version of Windows, the version of Explorer, and probably Norton is throwing something into the mix. Whoda thought a little

Reid, pbase has given me a good solution so let's see. Here is the formula:
http://pbase.com/image/1109162.jpg
For those of you who use pbase simply substitute your photo I.D. number for the "1109162" in the above and it will work. If you don't know what the I.D. number is, simply right click on your image and look in the Explorer Address window and you will see it.
Thanks be to SLUG of pBASE.
