The weather here in my area in know early winter Temp. in 40s , all snakes, bugs and Bee;s gone for good. So here in Va. M.D. states In USA it Prime time " Relic Hunting Season" I found this nice Plate today in another very hard hit Civil War camp, that has been written off years ago. I also found lots bullets over 12 inches deep. The plate was super deep around 18 Inches!! { see the photo!] the X-70 armed with 10.5 DD 7.5 and set Maxim is unbeatable in depth { Hunting in all/ metal with only two tones, Auto Track On and Sen. Set. 27 } . No sitet is hunted out until you hunt it with X-70!!

You're only supposed to find stuff like that at DIV! Great find.

Wow what depth and positive encouragement!! I did not know that the X-70 had that kind of capability!

I must get a 10.5" 7.5 DD for it!

"...the X-70 armed with 10.5 DD 7.5 and set Maxim is unbeatable in depth { Hunting in all/ metal with only two tones, Auto Track On and Sen. Set. 27 }"

(I think running the Sen. Set at 27 being very high is very important to get that kind of depth also.)

On your statement above you hunted in all/ metal and not even in Prospecting Mode to get that kind of depth, wow!! Imagine if you were using the Prospecting Mode with Iron Mask how much more depth you might get.

You are getting down to the slow FBS Explorer depth zone and you can hunt about 3 times faster and cover about 3 times more gound with the X-70 with a much lighter weight!!

I have used Pros. Mode but major Drawback you have hunt Super Slow . And Most camp I hunted are loaded with Nails, large iron!! The pros mode does go deeper, but in very heavy Iron loaded areas you can get headache!!!

Wow, I'm impressed with the depth...I might have to put that coil on my wish list. Nice find.

What a find!!! Congrats!!! He's not the only one enjoying the depth of he 10.5 DD med freq.........I consistantly dig 3 ringers at the 8-12" range.....Oh, and if you don't have them, the Explorer coil plugs work great for the grass & stubble!!!!!!!!!!....MO
