X 50 Finds

Hit a ploughed field with the X50, found 8 minnies, 1838 half dime, breastplate, 2 flat buttons, 1 eagle cuff and piece of hanger. The breastplate was over 10 inches deep, as was below the plough line. Was hitting on 42 and 45, back and forth. The minnies hit regular on 30. Also the half dime hit at 30, it was only about 1/2 inch deep. Did dig some deep iron, but with these results, I have no problem with that.

Those 1/2 dimes are few and far between for me. I've managed to find only 4 in my life and only 1 does not have a hole in it. There rest of your finds are very nice too, especially the breastplate :)
Congrats, looks like the 50 is WORKING well for you.

Nice finds David. Great to see folks who don't mind digging a few relics with their coins. (that comment is made by someone who is jealous that he don't live in an area that produces military relics). Seriously, that is some good stuff! HH Randy
