X-1 Probe?

Yes. If you hunt right handed, you want the switch on the left side so you can access it.

It's more convenient if you have it setup correctly. My first explorer was a used one and came with the X-1 probe. I'm right handed but swing the detector with my left hand. The X-1 probe was set-up for a right handed swinger. I used the XS for a long time and it never really bothered me that the switch was on the wrong side. If you have a chance to pick up a used X-1 for a good price but the switch is on the wrong side for your swing I'd go for it.
