WWII era finds from burn pile

I was able to locate an old burn pile in a vacant lot, so I searched a 5 ft circle around it and found these relics from the 40s. Even all the wheat cents were from the 40s. The little toy dime is dated 1949. The white rubber tires somehow survived still attached to a rusty axle. The nickel is 1941. I wonder if an old hope chest burned with these things in it because half the lock clasp in the upper left corner was also in the pile. I dug around in there 'til I began to melt in the hot sun and gave up.
