Found this about 6 inches down in the backyard in a low area. The Compadre hit on it like a coin. Hard and repeatable in both directions. Looks like at one time it was enameled but being it was in an old gravel area it was bent and the color worn off. The clasp for the pin seems to date it back further than a new novelty item. Maybe a lost war souvenir.
 
Before the Nazis used the symbol it was actually a good luck charm............... So maybe yours is before the Hitler reign.........
