My family is east of Charleston up in Kayford, I am living in Chicago but I am curious if you have been out hunting alot and what kind of stuff you been finding? I would like to go out hunting next time I visit out there if possible.

kayford is that up cabin crk i live in maldon/rand area.when its cool outside i like relic hunt for civil war.not doing that i try find old houses or go others county and hunt

Hello wvrelic hunter ,,yes Ive been digging relics 25yrs plus have been doing some research on clarksburg mannington ,,have been to charleston and the falls few times lots of action in that area ,but like most of WV the land that had camps has been destroyed to put plants on or houses to bad WV dosent care about there history,, anyway most digging i go back to central VA( home) where most the war was fought give me a shout love hunting period house sites lots of good relics in them ..Joe 304-771-62four two
