NO LONGER LOOKING.

There are many good honest folks in the hobby that doesn't use PayPal, I see no reason why anyone or any place wouldn'd accept a U.S. postal money order.

well they tell me to to email them and then I get sent back to somthing that tells me to email them , I dont have that much money anyway its to much of a hastle I guess if you are poor and have no bank account you are screwed. but then again the post office is on the virge of bankruptcy, and lots off badd checks and fake money orders, when i go to the post office to cash a money order they take it back and look at it and other things for about 10 minuts and then only reluctantly do they cash it , its to badd no one sells them , I have found not one detector sale that sells the raptor model 31 not one they all carry the lesh. that O,K I will get along with out it , this is not the world i grew up in

If this was last year I had 2 new ones I would have sold you as they didn't seem to work in my soil here in ND for cutting plugs, just too hard to push in the ground. If I remember right I put one on E-Bay and got $30 and the other one I got traded in for a Lesche and sold it for $35 to a guy looking for one. I think it would work OK for use in sand or lose soils.

Rick its probly hard to push in the ground because its to wide, and curved, iwould cut off 1/2 " from each side but then this is why the lesh knife works so well its not curved and its not wide so it goes into the ground very well . I have always liked the lesh knife, I have heard reports about the garret digger bending and hard to push into the ground , its extreem curv like a angle Iron is not good for pushing into the ground and its low quality steel, the 4130 crome make a hard non bending steel , if they dont show what kind of steel it is thats because they are not proud of it I will have to stay with the lesh and the 18" wilcox trowel

I have talked to a fella that had/has the Raptor, I asked him if they were hard to dig with, he told me that it is not hard to dig in hard ground with one, he said there is a knack to it I believe that he said you "wiggle" it as you are pushing it into the ground. They look like a nice digger to me but a bit on the large side.

This is the only digger I use. They actually work a little better if you push them in the ground at a slight angle instead of straight down. When you push it straight down it seems to put them in a bind and make it harder to pull out of the ground.

Just like with any knife, digger, or shovel, they have to be sharpened. So keep a file in your vehicle to sharpen them on a regular basis.

I use the Hercules model 88....slides right in the ground....no serrated edges....works for me. gl and hh

"Rock" the Raptor forward and backwards and it slides right into hard ground.......I love mine and will probably necer use tje "knife" again!

Bill, I sent a cashiers Bank check Priority mail to delaware last week and it took 7 days. It was promised in 2 days and took 7. He sent me my 10/12 coil thursday and its its in St.Peters to be delivered today. Go figure. I didn't want anything to do with PayPal because I've heard to many bad stories. I didn't like being force to be a member with a running account. At my age I can't afford my account # being sold or floating out in space for everyone to clean out. I'm retired and old school, I don't trust any of them.
