General Rules

The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.

Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they  cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.

Only For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted to Buy ads are allowed.

Only Forum Members Registered for  90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale or Trade ads.

Rules for Non Sponsoring Sellers:

  • Items for sale, or for trade, should be your own personal property and be accurately described.
  • Your for sale or trade post should be self contained, without references to another site where you may also have it for sale.
  • Do not put links to eBay.
  • Do not put links to other forums where you may also have the same item for sale or trade.
  • Dealers are not allowed to post in Classifieds unless they are a sponsor.

Advertisements not adhering to the above rules will be deleted without warning or notification.

Wtb Excalibur battery tubes

Any of you excal guys know that the battery tubes tend to crack at the end where the black connector screws on the main unit, and then they will leak. I am looking to buy a battery pod end cap or two that I can take the end cap off of to replace my cracked ones as my batteries are still good and I don't want to fork out $150 for a new battery when all I need is the end cap piece.

Can anyone help me for a fair price? Or does anyone know how to get them from minelab?
 
Buy an alk. pk, they are half the price! They are not rated for the 200 ft, but looking at them, they are the same thing. I sold my original recharge pk, and use the alk. pk exclusively. I also only hunt lakes, but I get 14-15 hrs on 8 alk batt., and then take them out and run them in my xterra for at least another 10 hrs. I would guess it is even longer than that, but I never really got specific on the Xterra hrs.
At least look into the idea, and if it works for you, great. I don't personally know if you will be able to find any end caps, (at least reasonably anyway), but good luck!
 
Thanks for the suggestion but it won't work for me as I dive with the excal but I do have an alkaline set for wading and sand work
 
I dive with mine as well and have never had any issues with the Alkaline tube. The plastic may be a bit different but at 60 ft I have never had an issue. On one of my machines its about 5 years old. You results may vary. On a side note there is a person on fleabay that sells his own version of the stock end cap.
 
Great thanks for the info on the alkaline pack I was a little learn to take it under do you know the fleabay guys name or how it's named so I can find it I'd like to get a couple of these as I have the tubes and batteries
