General Rules

The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.

Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they  cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.

Only For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted to Buy ads are allowed.

Only Forum Members Registered for  90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale or Trade ads.

Rules for Non Sponsoring Sellers:

  • Items for sale, or for trade, should be your own personal property and be accurately described.
  • Your for sale or trade post should be self contained, without references to another site where you may also have it for sale.
  • Do not put links to eBay.
  • Do not put links to other forums where you may also have the same item for sale or trade.
  • Dealers are not allowed to post in Classifieds unless they are a sponsor.

Advertisements not adhering to the above rules will be deleted without warning or notification.

WTB a Sovereign GT Shaft Handle

Looking for a handle for a Sovereign GT strait shaft. I ordered a new one back in December & it is still on back order. I am looking for a stock one with the foam in good condition. PM me with your deal. Thank You.
 
Rather than buy another stock grip why not get an aluminum end bar from a bicycle shop? I just put one on a custom light weight shaft and it's lighter than the stock grip. At the bike shop you'll have your pick of any rubber grips to slide over it as well. For more details watch the mod forum as I'll be posting the part # for this when I throw up the build thread. Maybe today. For $10 you get two, one for either a left handed or right handed person as they have a slight bend to them to make things comfortable.
 
I was actually leaning that way. The thing that ticks me off is having a stupid handle on order all winter. Here comes hunting season & no handle. Minelab better get it together.

I'd look into an end bar (aluminum grip) for a bicycle and then pick out any grip you like to slide over it. They have some VERY comfortable pistol like grips that will slide over it but they are pricey, like $30. A good rubber hand grip will cost about $5 and the end bar (2) will be about $10 or so. Besides being heavier than it needs to be, the major complaint I have with the stock grip is the cheap foam cover. That stuff not only chunks off easy but it holds moisture making my hands wet and cold under certain conditions.
