Wringing out the old sweat band today - not too hot but we finally got some rain. A whole 1/4 inch in my rain gauge.

I hit a park this morning that I hadn't had time to do completely last week - got about 150 coins , the world's largest nail, a brass cross, 2 toy cars, a wannabe silver chain and at a second park I got a gold ring. The chain isn't stamped and my test kit showed it to not be silver.

congrats on the gold!!! :) I don't thin I got a gold ring yet this year! :(

that much more gold is worn down here than in your area. If it's not there then it cant be found. Except on the beaches , Steve in so az

I think you've got something there Steve... I've been to a bunch of tot lots, but I don't see that kind of action. As far as the beach is concerned, I haven't been able to go under any good conditions... so I haven't found much at all. In fact, the beach has been so sanded in, I haven't had that many targets (and I'll dig ANYTHING in the wet surf :) ) I've got a good shot tomorrow as I'll be able to hit a negative tide on the north shore. Hopefully the weather will hold up. Either way, I'm going. If it's raining, I'll don my rain gear and use the CZ-20 :)
