The Wreck of the Flyer. Chapter two, On the ground.

Rocking and rolling with the rhythm of the rail joints, we went onward towards our destination. We passed through industrial areas that soon gave way to the rolling meadows and farm lands. We were following a river to the East and crossed numerous bridges spanning the tributaries that entered into it. Our engineer was constantly on the radio pointing out areas and objects of interest. Most of the railfans carry portable scanners in order to hear what
 
had a ride to remember!!

I never imagined that there were people that were so interested in the old Trains.

years ago. I'm tryin to get pics of a real wreck that happened a few years back just South of where I live (20 mi.) If I can put it together I'll post it. We just went on the ground or derailed, wasn't much of a wreck, just sounded better :lol:
