Construction workers at a building site in Malaysia made a startling discovery: A reticulated python that measured about 25 feet long and weighed in at 550 pounds -- one of the longest snakes ever captured.

Just think these things are now living and growing in Florida...
One day someone will go out detecting and the only thing found will be their detector..
 
The detector will be found in a large pile of snake poop.

I saw that snake on a news show. A constrictor of that size could easily kill a human.

Your post is a good heads-up for Florida detectorists. If I detect there, I'll make sure that I have a good sharp knife and a .45 on my hip.
