i"v got an old BHID that i used mainly in the water i found tons of coins & a few gold rings with it then one day wile out in a fresh water lake about chest deep it started going nuts so i looked to see why & there was water sloshing around in the control box  out came the battery & off home i went to dry it out & i found out it had a crack in the black rubber seal, i used it a few times for wading but i wanted to get out deep so it ended up in the back of my wardrobe.
fast forward a year & a bit i"d bought another under water detector which i"m having a few problems with so i started thinking about the old BHID tucked away in the back of the wardrobe so i emailed whites to inquire about buying a new orange seal as i"v heard they will stop the leaking problems
the reply i got stunned me :surprised: they would send one out free of charge if i gave them my postal address :clapping: to say i"m happy is an under statement .
i"d just like to say a big thanks to Todd at whites & to tell you all how great whites are.
this has made my choice of my next PI underwater detector a lot easy"er.

PS i"m taking it out for a test run tomorrow & i"ll let ya know how it works out :detecting

Whites is one of the best. Just ask anyone that has sent something to get fix, they go all the way with what ever they fix. I sent my pen pointer in, the screw came out of the back, they put that back in replaced the boot n the switch, tune it up, and get this on charge. I didn,t even ask for the new boot. they are grate. Whites was the first detector i owned. Now i have three all Whites. I know there are lots of good detectors out there, but why give up something very good to try something very good. Whites for every. HH Dean

I had the complete rod to my TDI stolen, sent White's an email to get a price
to replace it and I got the same response from Todd, send me you address and
I'll send one out free. I was so blown away, I sold a new detector from another
company I just bought and went and purchased a new MXT.

I have been spoiled for years with Tesoro's great service, glad to hear White's also stands behind their products, as I am swinging an older Eagle II SL. Way to go White's. Steve.

I am going to send my MXT in for a tuning as soon as it get to cold to hunt. I talked to Nancy on Mxt forum i thank it is only $40.00 to get a same s new detector. Can,t beat em. Flintstone

thanks for the replies,
sounds like everybody is real happy with Whites service :clapping: unfortunately it seems like my old BHID still has some internal problems due to the previous water leak the new seal works great now but it"s having trouble finding any targets at 1 inch so i have to send it in to get fixed but that will have to wait till after i"v bought a Whites DF PI detector so back to the wardrobe it goes.
