The first of February,Marcia fell in the parking lot of a local convenience store,no injuries, but we filled out an accident report, and because there were no injuries, forgot about it.....Today,we got in the mail, from the parent office of the store,a form,as to the status of our 'claim',from Marcia falling:How she was doing, injuries sustained from her fall,Dr. statements,treatments,etc.- ALL THIS,AND NOT A CLAIM EVER FILED........
A week ago Monday,Marcia and I fell down the pool steps at our Mackinaw hotel, resulting in many bruises.......We told management, and was told in return 'We will NOT assume liability in ANY WAY,YOUR FAULT that you fell, being caused by entering the pool incorrectly'.........We had NO INTENTIONS of filing a lawsuit against that hotel, but a tad more concern and caring sure would have been a nice touch:thumbdown:.............
