....Just seen on National Geographic this morning the search for;and the recovery of;gold and silver coins that were on the steamer S.S.Republic that went down off S/E U.S. in 1865...They found the gold and silver coins that were on it-The first bucket-full that came up had about 500 coins in it-When asked about the value;the director of the project said"OH,AROUND $5 MILLION"....
