Last year I hunted this park with one of those detectors that are so popular on some of them other forums. Well today after work I had the "Itch" real bad to do some detecting. For the skies were blue and the birds were singing. So I grabbed the Ace and hit this park again in hopes of finding a bunch of quarters. Well I guess I must of got them all last time but look what I found instead. A crucifix pocket knife and another cheap ring to add to my junk ring collection.

Veddy interesting. Some time ago I found a heart-shaped pendant knife. Wonder if you can clean that up, maybe soak it in some fuel oil. How uncivilized and violent are we when we put knives in crucifixes? What next, razor blades in the wafers.

Spray it with "PB Blaster" till it is soaked and dripping, give it a hour or so and take a VERY small flat blade screwdriver, work it between the blade and the side of the handle on both sides till you loosen it up and you should be able to open it. That PB Blaster works great on rusted stuff, it puts WD-40 to shame!!

Thanks for the advice but I kinda like leaving things as I find them. I just wash off the loose dirt. That way they still have that old buried look to'em.
I found an item simular to it on ebay. I guess it is considered a letter opener on a key ring.

I found this on Good Friday. That makes it "Extra Special". A little reminder from Jesus. I'm gonna post it on the Christian Forum and see what kind of a responce I get from those folks.
