Wow ... just too many machines ...

Explorer series, E-Track, Quatro, X-Terra series, Sovereign, Musketeer, Excalibur, the gold machines .... too many detectors ... so little time.

I already have a metal detector for every day of the week, is Minelab trying to fix me up for every day of the month?

White's, Fisher, and Tesoro are doing the same thing ... just too many detectors that all do the same thing ... find metal objects in the ground.

Depends what type of detecting you do as their are units for specific types of detecting...Gee recently saw one fellows stable of detectors and he could start a dealership and after the hobby trying them all becomes the second biggest detection. Used to have about a half dozen myself but have cut the stable to two one for deepies and one for local parks and you might do the same depending on how many facets of the hobby you detect in. Nope not all the same by a long shot and personal preferences, weight and particuliar mineralization for your area and it seems major companies have lightened the load whether it be actual weight or price for that matter as many good mid-line units out there. In addendum my line was always so many detectors so little time so good luck in your ventures and hope you don't have to build a bigger area for storage of your units...:clapping:

and then I was thinking LOL why have just extra coils, you have to change out ..just get the detectors with the coils you want..HAHHAHAHAHa

Yes, I have thought about that to.---It's SO much simpler for me to have a $700-$1500 machine right there handy with the coil of choice already mounted on it than it is to go to All THAT BOTHER of changeing out another coil (already mounted on it's own shaft)!!---Now you know why I'm SO POOR!!-----Del
