I was taking a run Friday morning to Atlanta. Bev called about 3 pm and said her and the kids next door were in the basement .Electricity was out and hail pounding the house. I told Beverly to get the radio out of our emergency gear and keep me informed. ( I need to get the generator in a more assessable place for her, and show her how to set it up. I always felt like I would be there to take care of things). Tornado hit several small towns around us. I haven't been to my farm yet, I know one hit Marysville just a few miles down the road from it.
My ex wife called my cell to see if we were all right. I told her I was almost to Chattanooga . She said , well you better speed up because there is a red line of storms from Al to IN right behind you headed east. I headed back after off loading and found I-24 between Chattanooga and Nashville was closed. So I took the long way back thru Knoxville and hit the storm there. Got home 2;30 this morning.. sure was glad to get in bed,,, and still have a bed to get into.

From what I saw on Tv it is devastating to say the least...
