Wow, Another silver at my new spot

Well, went back today to where i found the Washington quarter and detected for 2 1/2 hours. Found 48 coins consisting of 18 zincs, 14 coppers, 4 clad quarters, 4 clad dimes, 2 nickels, 5 wheats and this 1919 Walking half. The half was once again about 6-7 inches down and i used the same settings as always. Don't really expect this to continue as the area is not that big, but you never know. HH Jim.

I wonder what other goodies are waiting for you? Hit that little spot from multiple angles and make it bleed silver 🤣

ConGratzz along with trying different angles as Earthly suggest, if you have different size coils hit the area with them also

Nice oldie! Ma

Those Walkers are trophy silvers in my book. Another good day of digging.

Each time we hit a spot we improve our odds of finding one more goodie. We are taking off clad and trash which can mask a better target and just as importantly, with fewer good sounding targets, we began to dig some of those iffy signals, which, often times are goodies. HH Jim tn

I agree with this statement...., after all those great signals are long gone and you start digging those iffy signals, that is when the better finds start showing up many times.

I know sometimes soil moisture plays a part in how items sound and respond. I’ve learned to re-hit areas at different seasons and one does find/hear different things. Love those oldies!!
