Wouldn't believe it, if it didn't happen to me.

Working a beach in all metal, I got a faint signal. Real faint. Pullman but that tab must've been 8" or better. This beach was pretty clean. One pennie, couple of beer tops, a few tabs, and not much. Find of the day, a table knife, and it was a keeper. Oh I was hunting with the Compadre.

If You're talking bout finding a pulltab at 8" with a Compadre, believe it. The beach is the only place that My Wife and I hunt, I use a PI in the water and on the wet sand and She uses a "stock" Compadre on the dry sand running in all metal. It does not need to be "turned up" because She has found fish hooks at least 6" deep. A lot of sinkers, bottle caps, and a few coins 8" to 10".
Whole lot of complaining bout how deep She has to dig, just to find junk, but if She keeps on, She's going to find that one good target and then I want be able to keep Her at the house.
