A Louisiana Co. is sending four are five 18 Wheeler of stuff for the people up north to help them,One 18 Wheeler is a big generator that could light up a small town.They get to Knoxville,Tenn. and are stoped on the count of paper work,So clime they are over loaded.Fine the Co. $3000.00.Make's me really want to help.Damn stupid people.

Look, We here La. know what is going to happen to these people and know what they need for help.The road should be wide open for anything that can help.Damn I'm glad I'm going out then coming in this world.I sorry,I just hate stupid.

highways have had a truck prohibition since 11AM ....

A "general traffic" prohibition since 1PM...

Any emergency or necessary travel is NOT prohibited...

Example: If one absolutely has to get into work... State Police will NOT ticket... it's a judgement call.

Many of our highways, parkways & freeways are TREE lined... (Ask BobInMizzu or GeneralRay... they were amazed at the amount of trees here...) And with the wind gusts topping 70mph, he didn't want to take any chances.

Now don't get me wrong, I personally have absolutely no use for our Gov....

But, it aint about being a Repub or Dem....

IMHOpinion, and as a former town official, given what we are experiencing here, he took the correct action...

When Isabell hit Virginia and did a lot of damage no such declaration was made about the roads, it was more or less left up to each locality to deal with road issues. etc... ..Your Gov.......is a liberal.......I can see why you don't like him......
