Would The Deleon Frequency Ever Pick Up A Gold Nugget Compared To The Competitors Higher Frequencies?

Hi Everyone,

I am trying to figure out if I want an ID detector with a higher frequency, but it seems like Tesoro's ID machine's only run at 10KHz...What are your suggestions for an ideal ID detector with a higher frequency that will pick up small piece's of gold?

Tesoro Silver Sabre uMax

In fact The Metal Detecting Forum is the.. Compare detectors forum per Administration ..

I hear that the high frequency Tesoro Lobo SuperTRAQ is the way to go if you're looking for gold nuggets.

The DeLeon is a good coin shooter, park machine etc., but not near a first choice for prospecting. If you're looking for a do it all machine with tid, there are several. The Whites Mxt or Mxt pro come to mind right off.

Thx., for all your input, but after researching and all, I think I am going to stay with the Tesoro family because 1 competitor out there is too heavy and another competitor is too pricy...

Here you bring up two different questions to be answered.

One, you're trying to figure out if you would like a detector with 'ID'. From this comment I will ask the following.:

1.. Why do you want visual identification? There has to be a reason or purpose to have it and use it.

2.. When you ask about 'ID,' are your referring to mainly an icon or target item suggestion, such as Iron, Foil, 5

using the 7" Widscan in threshold all metal . I found a copper nugget in a basalt stone the nugget was small just under the size of a BB for a daisy BB gun and it can hit this with a diggable signal at 4" not that the outlaw is a Gold machine, but i would feel O,K using it for that , the small coil helps and tesoroes seem to like Gold .
