Would like some help, advice and opinions please folks on the 10

John, many thanks for that quick reply,a couple of quick additional questions if i may,am i right in saying that this 10x14 coil is classed as a 'Mono' coil and also what is the weight like i dont want exact weight but does it make the SH 11 very nose heavy, its not a major problem if it is as i can use it with a harness if need be.

But have to admit that is a massive depth and i guess that can only be achieved with a Pulse machine ??? i guess most people would tend to use them on the beach rather than for hoard hunting, but have heard good reports about this machine and i am certain that this ticks all my boxes especially with the information that you have given me.

Once again thanks for your help.

I bought a brand new 14x10 Mono and also the 8inch Mono coil today from a main dealer here in the UK for a crazy low price,as they are Mono Pulse coils they wont be used on a Garrett detector but will be used on my Crossbow Pulse machine. All that needs doing is a damper resistor added and they will work 100% this will give me much more flexibility so that i can detect single coins in bad ground conditions and also greater depth for Hoardhunting/Cache/Relic Hunting.

Thanks too John-Edmonton for his help in choosing these coils.

Both my Garrett coil arrived today and i am totally blown away by the build quality and also especially how light the 14x10 Mono coil is,if i had any concerns it was going to be the weight but it is far lighter than i had thought and does not make the detector nose heavy at all.

I am well pleased with these coils, will be even happier if they find me both my hoards that i bought this larger coil for.
