Would like info on Garrett units

A few years ago I let a coworker use my GTAx1250. Now he is asking me about a unit to buy and he wants a Garrett and is looking at the 1350 or the 1500. The way it sounds he is going to hunt parks and most part coins now,and have something he will not have to upgrade soon,( 3 or 4 years he said). All I have had was the 1250 and don't have a clue on the 1350 or the 1500.How would the 1500 compare to the 1250 he used of mine? I told him to look up a dealer and go check them out.Also he said something about a Sunray probe. He likes the one I had on my MXT.We took my wife's ID Excel out and he still wants a Garrett. Thank you for any info.

The 1350 is the 1250 with profiling and the 1500 is the 1250 with imaging. ASide from those features they are one and the same.
