WOT & Eureka

DOC:

I am curious if the Eureka loses any sensitivity to small and fine-sized gold with the Coiltek WOT coil. I would like to get one for the coverage if there is no significant loss of resolution. Please let me know if you or someone else could answer my question.

Thanks ahead of time.

The WOT should be used in the 6.4 mode for optimum performance and for those times when you think there may be a little larger deeper gold.

It is simply one of the facts of detectors that you have a hard time getting around. The bigger the coil, the greter the depth but the less sensitive to small gold.

The issue is that with a bigger coil the detector is now looking at more ground, and has to deal with and compensate for more mineralization. Because it has to work with a larger area of mineralization with a big coil, it lowers the sensitivity to small gold.

Thanks!

Thanks for your prompt reply. What are my Coiltek options? I would like to wander into shallow water when I am out in the hills and lose no resolution or sensitivity.

Peace,
Chuck
