when searching with the wot coil do you put it on the ground like the stock coil on the ex2 or off the ground thanks

I have both scrubbed the ground with it, and kept it off the ground, depending on the environment. If it is possible, I always keep it on the ground or within an inch or so, but unless you are in a freshly plowed field, or over a flat
piece of real estate, the reality is that you can't keep it on the ground at all times. And as everyone knows, the loss of an inch or two is still a loss of depth at the bottom of the magnetic field from the coil.

On the other hand, that WOT is a monster for depth, and for the most part, you will do fine if it is just a bit above the ground.

HH

Dennis, who knows WOT's up
