WOT Coil

Just bought a new WOT from DOC's Place. When pinpointing, what part of the center strip do you dig under? When using the stock 10" Minelab I dig directly under the Minelab sticker on top of the coil. Is the WOT similar or is this something a guy just has to find out for himself?
Happy Hunting to all and thanks for all replies!!! <img src="/metal/html/grin.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":grin"> <img src="/metal/html/grin.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":grin"> <img src="/metal/html/grin.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":grin">

the back of the coil to the rod and use the tip for the pinpoint.

The coil is real easy to rotate in place on the ground with PP on. If you lose the signal, move left or right until you're on it again. Sometimes, go another 90 or so degrees and check a third time. If it appears to move, it's probably a coin at an angle so dig a bigger hole so you don't nick it.
If you're in a lot of trash, you may pinpoint a piece of junk, but you can switch back to discrim quick and move the coil a couple inches side-to-side and make sure you've pinpointed the right target. I usually switch back to discrim after pinpointing because my next step is to switch to the X-1 probe, which never seems to work right if you just switch from coil to probe in pinpoint mode.
I tried the kick it up method and couldn't get it to work for me.

Lay a coin on the ground and see where it pin points on the coil, then take a felt tip marker and mark the spot on the coil.Make it easy on yourself!!
