WOT coil

Nebraska Ray

New member
Hey all, was just wondering how well the WOT coil works with the etrac, I originally bought it for my EXP 2 didnt really use it all that much, but i would like to give it a try with my new machine. any info would be appreciated.

Thank you
Ray

i use mine almost all the time. i love it!....my wife gets jealous! its awkward at first but you get used to it. but when you put the pro-coil back on, you feel like you got a peanut on the end of a stick. also, i dont know why, but it seems to pi$$ my dog off. its the only coil she tries to bite. try to stick to ball fields and big yards with it and take your time. you might also try to shorten the shaft a bit so it dont feel so heavy. -mike-

I used a WOT on my E-Trac on the beach last year. The WOT ran very stable and allowed me to cover alot of ground, it was like having a semi truck steering wheel on the end of my machine. Since I only used it for about 4 hours I can not give it an honest comparison on finds compared to the pro coil. I found a lot of deep stuff with the pro coil and brought back 14 rings, however none of them were found with the WOT since I only used if for 4 hours. It was on loan from a forum member and it looked like it had never been used when he sent it to me so I didn't want to send it back looking like it was dragged across 3 miles of beach for a week.
