WOT and 18000

When using my 18000 and the WOT coil in normal soil setting, all I get is a "louder threshold sound" and no target sound; even when the target is on the surface. Seems to work fine in Difficult soil. Stock coil works okay in both modes just fine. Any ideas <img src="/metal/html/confused.gif" border=0 width=15 height=22 alt=":?">
